NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt On DAYS OF OUR LIVES: 'It’s Not Going Anywhere'

Addressing the fate of its only daytime soap at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Pasadena on Sunday, NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt was optimistic that DAYS OF OUR LIVES would remain on the air beyond its current contract cycle, which expires in September.

"I think DAYS is going to stick around," Greenblatt told reporters. “I don’t know that I’m at liberty to say that officially yet, but it’s not going anywhere.”

According to Deadline, Greenblatt was also upbeat about keeping REVOLUTION off the air for four months before a return for a string of uninterrupted originals.

This is great news! I have been loving everything about days, especially the Kristen/Brady stuff. So glad we get to see more.
