  2. My thoughts on #PP & #WGA.

I think #PP will hire Fi-core writers to write #AMC & #OLTL at first so they can be in production by March as Debbi Morgan says. I also think they will continue the WGA talks & when that is final hire someone within WGA to take over as HW for the soaps.

Its not like this hasnt been done before. Werent Tyler Perry's TV shows non union for a while & they got union deals later. I know Tyler Perry is not a daily soap, But I believe they will have WGA deal eventually

  3. i wasn't convinced until now. We were getting everything in bits and pieces again. Finally three reports in three days, and a definite response from Prospect Park. I only hope they make the soaps FREE after what they put us through last year.

  4. I really hope that they sell these soaps to a cable channel too! Afterall, I'd like to be able to actually watch after having fought like hell to save these soaps since April 14 2011.

  5. The Announcements of Vincent Izzary, Morgan and Williams signing on to AMC are the most promising things I have seen so far. When there is a site and a premiere date, I will be more convinced. I am glad this is a possibility, but there are so many performance/production staff that will be devastated if this falls through, again. I hope PP understands that there are families attached to the promises they are making to the actors and crew.

  6. Happy to see OLTL and AMC return...especially OLTL. However, what about GH? What does this mean for GH and the OLTL characters on GH? I really like Starr with Michael!
I never really liked Roger Howarth‎'s Todd (I preferred Trevor St. John as Todd, AKA Victor Lord, Jr.) but on GH, I am actually liking Roger Howarth‎'s Todd, his comedic side is showing!! I want Todd and Starr to stay!! John McBain can go back, love the actor but his character has too much unresolved in Llanview.
Speaking of... Can Tea finally find Victor alive?!?!?

  12. Im so very happy for all the fans of AMC and OLTL!!! It is a statement for what can be donewhen fans unite. My only wish is that they would also bring back my favorite soap of all time, As The World Turns. But one victory at a time! Congrats again and this time lets make sure they don't get cancelled again.

  14. Today is like Christmas for me, I feel like this is the biggest present I could have gotten! I have to Thank everyone involved in this espcially the actors and actresses. I just hope if not everyone some of the orginal cast returns to both shows. I really like Starr, Todd and John on GH and I hope they stay where they are, they are with the best in the business and I really can't see them relocating right now with the stories they are involved in. This is just a great day not just for me but for all the fans that love these shows.

  20. Did I happen to mention that I want them back on the air AND online? Nobody should be cutoff simply because they have other financial obligations outside of owning a computer. But that's just my opinion.

  21. I have heard that #PP are rotating filming not airing of soaps. #AMC will film 5 weeks then #OLTL will film 5 weeks and then repeat until both soaps produce 168 episodes. Those 168 episodes will air M-Thurs for 42 weeks at a 30min length. Every Friday for those 42 weeks PP will air a recap of OLTL & AMC

Im thinking each week the soaps will film 8-10 episodes and at the end of each 5 weeks have 40-50 episodes to air

So filming of OLTL wouldn't begin until March-April. And that's why the AMC-ers are being lined up first.

Given that they air on #TOLN first I doubt we will pay. I could see PP say you have 7 days to watch this weeks AMC & OLTL before they move them to HULU PLUS like place where u then have to pay to view them. Then release the next weeks episodes and repeat the process. Then hopefully down road, a cable station airs them

  22. As much as I want the shows back, there are a couple things that could ruin it for me.
    1) If it will be airing only on Hulu, I will be angry. As a Canadian, I cannot access Hulu, and neither can anyone in any country besides the US. This would be a major slap in the face, since I watched both shows for 30 years.
2)We all know this took a year longer than it was supposed to, so what happens if major stars don't come back? The shows wouldn't be the same. I don't want to have waited all this time for cheap replacements of a formerly great cast. Especially since I don't see that any OLTL actors have signed up...how can they start filming next month?

  23. It will air on TOLN first & that is available outside the USA

  24. I will watch these two soaps again no matter the format. I would prefer not to pay to watch, but I will if it comes down to it. I have been watching both shows since I was a small child and even got my husband hooked on OLTL. We would watch it together at dinner every night. It was a part of my day that was sorely missed. Thank you so much Prospect Park and the cast that have chosen to return so far. As for Ms. Lucci. She was a big part of AMC, but not the only part. It can continue without her.
