Details on Foley’s role are being kept under the tightest of wraps, but sources confirm that he’s on board for a major arc to air towards the end of the show’s current second season.

Apple To Offer Three DOWNTON ABBEY Episodes On iTunes Ahead Of PBS Broadcast
Apple said yesterday that North American subscribers to iTunes who purchase a season pass for the show will get a jump on the last three episodes of season three before they air on PBS. The episodes, including the special season finale which airs on February 17, will be available for download on iTunes beginning January 29.

Maggie Smith returning to DOWNTON ABBEY for Season 4

The initial numbers are a “beautiful thing,” PBS chief Paula Kerger told TV critics Monday, saying she wasn’t sure airing DOWNTON in the fall (like the UK) against stiff competition from the commercial broadcast networks is in the best interest of viewers or the franchise.

Scott Gimple to become new showrunner for THE WALKING DEAD
Gimple joined TWD as a producer in Season 2 and was promoted to supervising producer for the current third season. He has penned five Dead episodes, including this season’s “Hounded.”
