GENERAL HOSPITAL star Maurice Benard has signed a new contract to remain on the soap as Sonny Corinthos. Benard announced the news on his Twitter account."I just signed my contract for General Hospital," Benard wrote. "It makes me feel good that I'm not leaving my family."
Benard joined GH in 1993 and has received seven Daytime Emmy nominations for his work as Sonny, winning in 2003.
