Less than three weeks after TV legend Larry Hagman's death from cancer complications, DALLAS has decided that his iconic DALLAS character, J.R. Ewing, will be buried during the second season's eighth episode.
According to TVLine, Hagman completed filming a number of Season 2 episodes prior to his sudden passing. Although production was not significantly impacted, producers quickly began crafting a proper sendoff — one that is rumored to feature a number of returning DALLAS vets.
The new season of DALLAS is set to premiere on January 28 on TNT. The funeral episode will air on March 11.
