1973: On DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Mickey and Maggie shared their first Christmas together.

1973: Frannie Hughes was born on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Many years later (with Julianne Moore in the role) it was revealed her half-sister/cousin Sabrina was alive.

1974: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, the citizens of Monticello celebrated Christmas.



1979: On ALL MY CHILDREN, Joey Martin (Jake) was born.

1980: On GUIDING LIGHT, Mike Bauer (Don Stewart) sang a medley of Christmas songs at church. Watch a clip here.

1981: On THE DOCTORS, Madison celebrated Christmas. You'll spot a young Kim Zimmer in the cast.



1984: ABC aired the final episode of primetime soap PAPER DOLLS.



1986: On EASTENDERS, Dirty Den gave Angie divorce papers for Christmas. The episode was watched by 30 million viewers.



1986: On SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, Jo (Mary Stuart) worried her Christmas dreams would not come true.



1986: On ALL MY CHILDREN, Palmer proposed to Daisy.



1995: On AS THE WORLD TURNS, the Hughes family gathered at Tom and Margo's house to celebrate Christmas. Bob read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the children. Watch it here.

1996: On ANOTHER WORLD, Ryan's ghost continued to watch over Vicky.
