THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Thanksgiving Plans: Classic Episode on Nov. 23

CBS announced on Thursday special Thankgiving programming on THE TALK, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, LET’S MAKE A DEAL and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, the holidays heat up as (spoiler alert!) Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Jack (Peter Bergman) share a close moment on Thanksgiving in the episode that airs Wednesday, Nov. 21. Then, on Friday, Nov. 23, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS will air an encore of the classic episode that features Victor and Nikki’s wedding (OAD 09/05/02). The show will air 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET and 11:00 AM-12:00 p.m. CT and 3:00-4:00 p.m. PT due to CBS Sports coverage of NCAA Football: SEC Game.

THE TALK kicks off CBS Daytime’s holiday programming on Thursday, Nov. 15 (2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. PT/CT) with lifestyle expert Chi Lan Lieu, who will showcase entertaining ideas and tips for the perfect holiday celebration. On Monday, Nov. 19, Hollywood chef Robbie Montgomery will serve up her favorite Thanksgiving soul food dishes, including cornbread stuffing, collard greens and her signature sweet potato pie. On Tuesday, Nov. 20, relationship expert Dr. Michelle Callahan shares tips on how to navigate challenging situations with family and friends during the holiday season. In addition, interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard will provide tips on how to design the home and table for the perfect Thanksgiving meal with family and friends on Wednesday, Nov. 21. After the broadcast, all recipes and segments will be available on TheTalk.com.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT welcomes the holiday season with a special Thanksgiving episode, Monday, Nov. 19 (11:00 – 12:00 Noon ET; 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. PT). In the spirit of the holiday, the show will feature Thanksgiving Showcases designed to bring friends and family together. Prizes up for grabs include new cars, culinary vacations to Italy and Greece, smartphones with a family calling plan, new living room and dining room sets, and, in a nod to the holiday’s staple meal, a trip to the country of Turkey. In addition, THE PRICE IS RIGHT will welcome back Male Model Search winner Rob Wilson, while celebrity chef Cat Cora stops by to present a series of culinary-themed prizes.

LET’S MAKE A DEAL gives thanks to the holiday on Tuesday, Nov. 20 (check local listings for times), when teams of families compete for a variety of prizes, including cars from Kia, Chevy and Ford, as well as a trip to Orlando that include tickets to a Justin Beiber concert, a trip to the Mall of America in Minnesota, a trip to the San Diego Zoo and a trip to San Francisco with a VIP tour of the Jelly Belly Factory. In addition, the family teams will make deals for gift cards from Baskin Robbins, a year of free pizza for the entire family, a suite full of Apple products and a new game room.
