This week on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Port Charles says goodbye to a beloved icon. The death of actor John Ingle earlier this year meant this day was coming soon, and this week, Edward Quartermaine passes away. Look for some heartfelt moments with Tracy (Jane Elliot), Monica (Leslie Charleson), Michael (Chad Duell), and a whole host of returning GH faves. Of course, these are the Quartermaines, so expect the returns of Ned (Wally Kurth) and Skye (Robin Christopher) to lead to some epic quarrels. Couldn't think of a more fitting sendoff for dear Edward.
Edward's passing will coincide with another return, as Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) re-asserts her quest to get her hands on some Quartermaine money. Looks like it's up to Luke (Anthony Geary) to thwart Heather's bad intentions.

On Thanksgiving Day, tune in for a special GH encore, where you'll be able to see one of Edward Quartermaine's last big moments on the show, as he acts heroically during the latest GH crisis. (There will be no episode on Friday, due to the holiday weekend.)
