Monday Night Ratings: Strong Night for SWITCHED AT BIRTH; GOSSIP GIRL Returns To 770,000 Viewers

The Monday night overnight ratings are in and it was a weak start for the final season of GOSSIP GIRL.

From TVLine:
GOSSIP GIRL netted just 770,000 total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating — down 33 percent from its May finale. The lead-in, 90210, opened its season with a million viewers and a 0.5 rating, right on par with its Season 4 finale (which aired on a Tuesday).

From EW.com:
NBC's REVOLUTION had a 3.1 rating/8 share in the Adults 18-49 demo. The show has also been doing well in delayed viewing so expect those numbers to rise.

From Univision:
Ratings for last night aren't in yet, but last Monday Univision was the #3 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC and FOX in the demographic for a second consecutive week. Univision also out-delivered FOX among Adults 18-49 to rank as the #4 network for the night. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and top 15 among Adults 18-49.

Monday’s all-new SWITCHED AT BIRTH rose to a season high in Women 18-34 (492,000/1.5 rating), and posted double-digit percent increases over last week’s outing in target demos, including by 14% in Adults 18-34 (546,000 vs. 481,000), by 13% in Adults 18-49 (867,000 vs. 767,000), by 16% in Women 18-49 (725,000 vs. 625,000), by 16% in Viewers 12-34 (814,000 vs. 701,000) and by 26% in Females 12-34 (746,000 vs. 591,000).

Against all Monday cable TV telecasts, SWITCHED AT BIRTH stood as the #1 scripted cable TV telecast in Women 18-34, Women 18-49 and Females 12-34.

In its Monday 8pm time period, SWITCHED AT BIRTH was the #1 cable TV telecast in Females 12-34, and the #1 scripted cable TV telecast in Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49.
