Daytime TV Ratings Week of September 10-14, 2012: B&B and DAYS Up In W18-49 Demo

The daytime soap opera ratings are in for the week of September 10-14, 2012. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GENERAL HOSPITAL and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS were all down in Total Viewers. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL (+47,000) and DAYS OF OUR LIVES (+25,000) were up in Women 18-49 Viewers.

1. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS 4,216,000 (-82,000/-33,000)
2. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 3,164,000 (-34,000/+522,000)
3. GENERAL HOSPITAL 2,528,000 (-33,000/+89,000)
4. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 2,297,000 (-161,000/-25,000)

B&B was also up in the Women 18-34 demo (+.1).

GENERAL HOSPITAL aired an hour earlier in most markets started September 10. Meanwhile, this week GENERAL HOSPITAL is averaging a 2.4 rating/8 share in households (through Wednesday) based on the 56-metered (overnight) markets. As you can see, GH scores better in the overnight markets than they do when the full ratings come in.
