THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is shooting its 10,000th episode this week and the cast and crew celebrated with the traditional anniversary cake on Wednesday. The CBS Daytime Twitter account tweeted the photo above from the festivities.
The Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles will celebrate Y&R's 10,000th episode with a special panel discussion on Thursday, August 23, at 7:00 p.m. Genoa City favorites scheduled to appear are: Peter Bergman (Jack), Eric Braeden (Victor), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Joshua Morrow (Nick), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Kristoff St. John (Neil), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis). Brooks Barnes, of The New York Times, will moderate.
