1987: On RYAN'S HOPE, John and Lizzie tried to get married, but Ben "kidnapped" the bride before she could walk down the aisle.

1988: On AS THE WORLD TURNS, Hank Elliot revealed to Iva that he was gay becoming the first out gay male character in daytime soap opera history.

1997: Alan and Monica celebrated their anniversary on GENERAL HOSPITAL. "I haven't tried to kill you in 15 years," joked Alan. "That's cause for celebration."
