NEWS ROUNDUP: Jonathan Jackson Previews NASHVILLE, Julie Berman Shooting Indie Film With Justin Bruening

GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Jonathan Jackson previews NASHVILLE, happy for Jill Farren Phelps
"My character Avery is more avant-garde musically, so I think the audience will get to see that side of the Nashville music scene through him. I wouldn’t say he’s very country at all, really. He’s really more Americana. [Recording artist] Elvis Costello is a good example, I guess. He does a lot of different genres and uses a lot of different voices. His lyrical content is very broad and deep, so we’re excited to explore the more indie music scene in Nashville."

"I haven’t been able to really watch [GENERAL HOSPITAL], but I’ve been hearing positive things, which is cool. I was also excited to hear that Jill [Farren Phelps] went to Y&R. I was excited for her."

Alexa Chung will make a cameo in GOSSIP GIRL
A spokesperson on behalf of Chung confirmed that she has filmed a cameo appearance, and will be playing herself.

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Julie Marie Berman cast in new indie film
Filming for Orchard House has been taking place in Grafton, MA. "I play Jo," says Berman, "which has been incredibly fun for me. Actually, funny enough, Justin Bruening (Jamie) from ALL MY CHILDREN plays Teddy, the guy in love with Jo. Small world, huh?"

"Does Reeves think this whole controversy has been about free speech? If so, maybe she should stick to having professional writers craft her words."

Nina Dobrev Offers To Be Miley Cyrus' Flower Girl
Dobrev squashed rumors that she and VAMPIRE DIARIES co-star Ian Somerhalder are engaged, telling Canada's Fashion magazine, "I'm not going to pull a Miley." While she meant to imply that at 22 she's too young for marriage, many publications construed her words as a jab at 19-year-old Miley, who said "yes" to fiancé Liam Hemsworth's proposal in June.

Despite talks of a comeback, ELDORADO was ‘huge disaster’ that humiliated BBC
“The BBC was caught with its pants down,” contends Alhaurin-based Robert Zdrill, who worked as a video editor on the series. “There was lots of mischief going on and it turned out to be a huge disaster.”

The problems were enormous. Poorly-built sets, actors who couldn’t act and poor production left the drama with three million less than its target 10m viewers. It was eventually axed after one year in March 1993.

  2. I will never watch a scene that Melissa or Scott Reeves is in again, ever.

Melissa, your viewers recognized and acknowledged your family every damn time you were on the cover of Soap Opera Digest with them. Since you can't do the same for your viewers, then the FF button is my new best friend.

You go, girl, with that freedom of speech, and I'll have freedom to FF.

  3. Melissa Reeves has lost all my respect. Freedom of speech!? Well there you go. I have the freedom to never watch a scene of Jennifer Horton again.

Jonathan Jackson looks awesome in this picture. I'm excited for "Nashville". Even though I miss JJ as Lucky on "GH".

  4. If Melissa Reeves wants to go there with Freedom of Speech, maybe she should read the entre Constitution and learn about Equal Protection.
