GLEE Cast Teases New Season
"We're shooting season four now and it's incredible. It's very much like two different shows. It's like a show inside of a show," Cory Monteith shared. "I'm excited to see how the two different worlds interact. There [are] a lot of cool guest stars, but I'm more excited to see how the...show behaves now."

Meanwhile, his onscreen and offscreen love Lea Michele commented on show production filming part-time in New York City as her character heads to a performing arts school, enthusing, "It's like a different show, it's really amazing."

Vulture Visits Glee Set, Finds Show Not-So-Secretly Morphing Into the Fabled Rachel and Kurt Spin-off
When the season begins, Rachel will already be struggling in a sea of superstars at the fictional New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (for which there is a fancy dance-studio set), and Kurt, bored and aimless in Ohio, will wind up in New York as an intern at Vogue.com. They’ll decide to bunk together somewhere in Brooklyn and Rachel will trade in her schoolgirl skirts and knee-highs for something edgier and fashion-forward (thanks to an assist from Kurt’s Vogue mentor Isabelle Klempt, played by Sarah Jessica Parker.)

JR Bourne Joins REVENGE As Recurring
Bourne (TEEN WOLF) will play Kenny, a magnetic, self-assured, Hamptons resident who tries to hide his rough edges behind his fancy clothes and Mercedes.

SCANDAL: Allyson Felix attempts to 'run' the show
Felix, who won the women’s 200m dash at the London Olympics, mentioned in interviews that during her down time before racing, she’d been marathoning — a.k.a. watching the entire first season of ABC’s SCANDAL! Creator Shonda Rhimes immediately invited the smiley sprinter to visit the set.

STUDY: Why watching TV repeats is good for you
Research from the University of Buffalo builds on the theory that, after periods of self-discipline, a person is more likely to give in to temptation later on. The thinking goes: "I had a salad for lunch, therefore I'm going to have a pizza lightly sprinkled with a large bag of chips for dinner." In order to avoid this and to replenish our sense of self-control we need to boost our happiness levels, which is where rewatching much-loved TV shows comes in.

Psychologist Dr Jaye Derrick calls this effect "social surrogacy", likening our old TV pals to a virtual friends and family. In experiments involving essay writing and word association, people found it easier to maintain their self-control and concentration if they had also been asked to describe a favourite television show. Others kept diaries to find out how entering "familiar fictional worlds" improved their mood. "[TV] can have unexpected psychological benefits," writes Derrick, "[and] fulfil needs that people are reluctant to fulfil through other means."

JWT Atlanta goes soap for electric provider Scana
With a faux soap opera titled "Affairs of the Flame," the marketing effort attempts to add a little entertainment value to energy companies’ traditionally dull courtship of customers who are shopping around for better heating prices during “gas renewal season”—the months when consumers are more likely to defect as colder weather approaches, according to group creative director Tim Wettstein.

AS THE WORLD TURNS alums Eileen Fulton and Ellen Dolan shooting film in Iowa
A crew of New Yorkers left their bustling city of skyscrapers and subways Wednesday for two cozy, quaint rural Iowa towns for 3 1/2 weeks to film a motion picture.

Filming began Thursday for A Time for Heroes, a World War II story written and directed by La Crosse, Wis.-area filmmaker Scott Thompson of MyTown Pictures and produced by Staten Island, N.Y.-native Sam Borowski.

The patriotic-themed movie will be filmed almost exclusively in Traer and Clutier with some well-known actors joined by local war veterans.

Charting soap opera’s ongoing love-hate relationships with its gay characters
Next Magazine charted "a few of the soap world’s homo heroes and the dramatic fates that they have faced."

Ed Skrein joins GAME OF THRONES

According to IMDB, he’s a musician and actor who recently broke into the British film scene. THRONES also cast Grey Worm, the leader of a group of eunuch slave soldiers called the Unsullied. He’ll be played by young British actor Jacob Anderson.
