Daytime TV Ratings Week of July 9-13, 2012: GENERAL HOPSITAL Up, New Demo Low For DAYS OF OUR LIVES

The daytime Nielsen ratings are sin for the week of July 9-13, 2012. Compared to the previous week, GENERAL HOSPITAL was up in Total Viewers while DAYS OF OUR LIVES, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL were down. All four soaps had the same Household rating as last week.

1. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS 4,402,000 (-103,000/-212,000)
2. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 3,065,000 (-50,000/+121,000)
3. GENERAL HOSPITAL 2,318,000 (+76,000/-124,000)
4. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 2.230,000 (-179,000/-201,000)

DAYS OF OUR LIVES reached a new low in the Women 18-49 demo with only 423,000 viewers. GENERAL HOSPITAL and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS were up slightly.

  1. Such a roller coaster ride for DAYS lately. Hopefully the stunt they have planned for after the Olympics will energize the fanbase and Nielsen viewers.
