DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Peter Reckell, who has played Bo Brady on and off since 1983, will be leaving the soap. Reckell's wife, Kelly Moneymaker, is tweeting about his impending exit on Twitter. Hard to say goodbye to characters who've been on 4ever!! Hard 2 believe Bo will be one of those shortly!

While I have no ill feelings toward RKK (I enjoyed him on AW and did not hats him as Bo), I hope the show writes Bo out. I understand Reckell's reason for departing and support his decision. Bo Brady has been a fan favorite for decades. With that said, I do believe the show can survive his departure if they write goof stories and stick with what the identity of the show. :)

I will be sad that Peter Reckell is leaving but these days he did not do much compared to the 80's or 1990 when he returned. He was a leading hero on the show now he seems more like a fill in a supporting role. In 95 he had a great return but I do wish they would of made him come back to the the leather biker Bo before he left the show. Perhaps he will return at some point in the future. :)
No one replaces Peter, or Bo... the real question is how on earth or they going to keep Bo and Hope alive, or Kristian for that matter. RKK probably held up as well as PM like a raisin in the sun. There is no going back after this, Days is over.
I'd love to see RKK back on my tv. Rather see Stavros show up on General Hospital, but I'd love seeing him return as Bo just as well. Truth be told I preferred his Bo (and I loved Billie).

I hope he does not leave to go be with Carly..ugh..I also hope they dont kill him off that way they can bring him back when they realize there screwing up by letting him leave.. maybe he will leave to go take care of his daughter chelsea or maybe to go work a case.. or maybe go take care of sean bell and claire on the boat.. lets pray the writers come to there senses and see this is a dumb move on there behslf..maybe hope and ciera will go to and they can take a trip around the world on fancy face..
I cannot see Hope without Bo... all of the steady, constant couples will be gone:( Change is good, but too much change is not!
I hate that they're taking Bo off the show!! Its like its not even about the families that made this show(Horton's & Brady's) I have watched this show for over 25 years and its frustrating to hear!! Atleast replace him after all he does have a family or write Hope & Cierra off as well!
