THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL Vying For Seventh Consecutive Audience Award Win At The Monte Carlo TV Festival; Faces LA REINA DEL SUR & EVA LUNA

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL will be vying for its seventh consecutive win at the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/ Soap Opera” category.  EVA LUNA and LA REINA DEL SUR are also nominated.  Winning this award for the last six years, with an estimated 35 million daily viewers in over 100 countries, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL remains the most watched daily dramatic series in the world.

The 7th Annual TV Audience Awards will honor the programs that gathered the highest number of viewers worldwide in 2011 across five continents. The nominees were pre-selected among the 15 best-performing foreign fiction programs in 65 countries. The winners will be revealed at the 52nd Monte Carlo Television Festival Awards on Thursday, June 14 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Cast members Scott Clifton (Liam), Don Diamont (Bill) Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Kim Matula (Hope) and Hunter Tylo (Taylor) will attend the festival in the Principality of Monaco, as guests of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, from June 10-14, 2012. The five actors are set to attend the Opening Gala and Closing Award Ceremonies, as well as television appearances, press days, autograph signings and special festival events.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and the Monte Carlo Television Festival will celebrate the milestone with a 25th Anniversary Party for festival attendees on Monday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel. In addition, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is hosting contest winners from Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Netherlands and Norway, who will travel to the festival as part of their grand prize package, including a winner’s luncheon on June 11 with the actors.

Prince Albert II of Monaco, and includes press events, a jury competition and awards, premiere screenings, glamorous receptions and parties hosted by the major networks and studios. More than 200 journalists and many major creative forces in the industry from around the world will be present.
