The daytime Nielsen ratings are sin for the week of June 18-22, 2012. GENERAL HOSPITAL and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL were both up in total viewers over the week before. B&B is still the only daytime soap to have gained viewers year-over-year.

4. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 2,376,000 (-112,000/+71,000)
GH was the only show to gain viewers (+12,000) in the Women 18-49 demo.

Y&R lost half a million viewers compared to last year and Maria Arena Bell is still employed. If this woman hadn't married a Bell she would have been fired a long time ago.

Y&R has two years left. If they don't at least try to stay alive the show will be canceled by CBS in 2014.
