1975: On ANOTHER WORLD, Jim, now a widower, had Russ and Iris over to dinner.

1978: At the 5th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, DAYS OF OUR LIVES won for Outstanding Drama Series. The acting winners were James Pritchett and Laurie Heineman.

1989: On AS THE WORLD TURNS, Ellen told David she was unhappy.



1997: The winners at the 24th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were GENERAL HOSPITAL (Drama Series), Justin Deas, Jess Walton, Michelle Stafford, Ian Buchanan, Sarah Brown and Kevin Mambo.

2003: At the 30th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, winners included AS THE WORLD TURNS (Drama Series), Susan Flannery, Maurice Benard, Vanessa Marcil, Benjamin Hendrickson, Jennifer Finnigan and Jordi Vilasuso.

  2. I love both of Emilys but I was so much in love with Melanie Smith's Emily at the time, she was the one that defined the character, as Emily the vixen, she resembled Marie Masters very much and was a chip off the old block, like Susan in her younger days.
