Monday Night Ratings: SMASH Up Slightly, SECRET LIFE Down, WWE Dominates Cable

The Monday night Nielsen ratings are in with scripted programs going up against DANCING WITH THE STARS and the NCAA Tournament Men's Final basketball game. Below is a roundup of April 2 ratings reports we have so far.

From Media Life:
At 8 p.m., Univision placed fifth among broadcast networks with a 1.6 Adults 18-49 ratings for UNA FAMILIA CON SUERTE. The CW was seventh with a 0.5 for GOSSIP GIRL.

CBS moved to first at 9 p.m. with a 5.5 for its first hour of basketball. Univision was fifth with a 0.8 for ABISMO DE PASION. The CW was seventh with a 0.3 for a repeat of HART OF DIXIE.

At 10 p.m. CBS led with a 7.2 for basketball, with ABC and NBC tied for second at 2.2, ABC for CASTLE and NBC for SMASH. Univision was fourth with a 1.5 for LA QUE NO PODIA AMAR with Telemundo fifth with a 0.7 for RELACIONES PELIGROSAS.

The top two original programs were the 9 and 10PM episodes of WWE Raw, which both earned a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, up from a 1.8 for last week's 10PM episode and a 1.7 for last week's 9PM episode. The WWE Hall of Fame was the number three original program with a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.

THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER had a 0.8 A18-49 rating and 1.563 million viewers for its 8 p.m. airing.
