Susan Lucci has landed a co-starring role in the ABC pilot DEVIOUS MAIDS, according to Deadline.com. MAIDS is a primetime soap from DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES creator Marc Cherry. The show follows four maids (Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Roselyn Sanchez, Judy Reyes) with ambition and dreams of their own while they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Lucci will play one of the employers, Genevieve Delacourt, a beautiful, wealthy woman who is gently crazy. Having spent her adult life attracting one powerful man after another, these days she’s washed up and finds herself reduced to seducing the pool boy and feeling suicidal.
ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Catherine Hickland also read for the role.
Lucci also debuts on ARMY WIVES on March 18.
GENERAL HOSPITAL and ADULTS ONLY star Brianna Brown is also part of the cast.
