John Reilly, best known for his role as Sean Donely on ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL, has joined the cast of THE BAY in the recurring role of Mortimer, the Garrett butler. Described as the gatekeeper and glue that holds the dysfunctional Garretts together, creator Gregori J. Martin says "Mortimer is to the Garretts what Jiminy Cricket is to Pinocchio!"
Reilly shoots his first scenes this Thursday, March 22 and will first air in mid-May.
Reilly's other daytime credits include NBC's PASSIONS and SUNSET BEACH, and AS THE WORLD TURNS. He has also appeared in the primetime soaps, DALLAS, DYNASTY, PAPER DOLLS and BEVERLY HILLS, 90210.
Season 2 of THE BAY picks up with all new webisodes on Thursday April 26. Look for brand new interviews with some of the cast on an upcoming episode of WE LOVE SOAPS TV.
