WINNERS: 2012 DGA Awards (GENERAL HOSPITAL's William Ludel)

The Directors Guild of America Awards Dinner was held on Saturday, January 28, at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

The ceremony honored Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Television and Commercials for the year 2011.

Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Daytime Serials:

He won the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Daytime Serials for GENERAL HOSPITAL "Episode #9801" in 2001 and "Episode #8248" in 1995; and was previously nominated for GENERAL HOSPITAL "Macho Men" in 2009, "Luke in Purgatory" in 2008, "Episode #11177" in 2006 and for "Episode #7922" in 1994.

He was previously nominated for that series for "Episode #9686" in 2006, "Episode #9385" in 2005 and "Episode #8655" in 2002.

He was previously nominated in the Movies for Television and Mini-Series category in 2010 for The Pacific, "Okinawa". He is also a four-time nominee in the Dramatic Series category for his work on THE SOPRANOS with “Whoever Did This" (2002), "Long Term Parking" (2004), “Members Only" (2006) and "Sopranos Home Movies" (2007).
