1958: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Capt. Marceau took both a stunned McGinnis and Lowrey in for questioning.

1969: Joel Crothers aired for the final time on DARK SHADOWS.

1978: ONE LIFE TO LIVE and GENERAL HOSPITAL each expanded to 60-minutes per day.

1988: On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Cricket introduced Phillip to her mother, Jessica Blair.



1989: RYAN'S HOPE aired its final episode, another Friday the 13th ending on ABC Daytime. Watch the final scene, Maeve singing "Danny Boy," below:



1992: ANOTHER WORLD aired its 7,000th episode.

2012: ONE LIFE TO LIVE aired its final episode on ABC.
