As we count down to the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Feb. 21, we will feature the shows nominated for Best Web Series, Comedy and Drama. We start with a Drama nominee, THURSTON, a Western drama about residents of a remote mining town and their struggle for survival in the Kansas Ozarks. Created and written by Kathryn O'Sullivan, and directed by her husband Paul Awad, the show stars Catherine Frels as tough but troubled Maggie Callaway.

Since their nomination I have had the pleasure to check out this series. It has a great story in a very unique setting. So glad I checked it out!
I'd heard of a western web series floating around out there. To see it come to fruition is quite cool :)
