Kirsten Storms: 'Fingers crossed you'll see more of me after the New Year!'

Kirsten Storms only has two tweets since late August. On Oct. 21 she retweeted a quote from @TheGodLight: "You must move through pain if you wish to be happy, for he who stands still, feels the full force of misery."

On Monday, she actually wrote something of her own for the first time in 106 days giving fans hope she would be returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Maxie in 2012.

"I hope everyone is having a great holiday season w/the ones they love...fingers crossed you'll see more of me after the New Year!! ;)"

On the October 16 episode of DIRTY SOAP it was revealed Storms was suffering from endometriosis, which forced her to take a leave of absence from GH. She did not appear on the remaining episodes of the E! docu series. Jen Lilley took over the role of Maxie in her absence.

  1. Does she know the God of Light aka the Light-bringer is Satan?

  2. If she truly had Endometriosis she would have been back to work now I'd think. As I've had Endometriosis so bad that my bladder & uterus were stuck together by scar tissue and my bladder wall was so thinned out by ripping that I had to have a hysterectomy.
Now, if Storms had any surgery she could be back at work by now.{After 6-7 weeks) I'm thinking she has in treatment for anorexia as she was at an unhealthy weight before she left.

  3. Jenn Lilley used to have "Temporarily playing Maxie Jones on GH (Get well KS!)" as her twitter description, but NOW it says... "also playing Maxie Jones on ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL." Maybe they will bring Kirsten back to play...Claudia?

  4. I Find it sad that someone has the gull to comed on here and acuse Kirsten of Lying about her illness, but doesnt have the balls to say who they are and hide behind Anonymous. If you say stuff like that, have the guts to admit who you are. Right now u just come off as a coward.
I dont care if u had it to, ur not Kirsten. U dont know how her body reacted to it. Each person is different.

I apologize to Damon & Roger for my post and hope it didnt cross a line, but I had to say what I felt

  5. I agree. Who are you to say how the Endometriosis has effected Kirsten's body. Just because it only took you 6-7 weeks to recover doesn't mean that Kirsten should have been back to work in that amount of time. And how dare you accuse her of lying about it and then say that she was probably being treated for anorexia!?!?!? She is a stunning girl & looks very healthy to me! Just because she's a little thinner than what you think is appropriate doesn't mean that she has an eating disorder.

  6. I agree with the anonymous. Probably more going on than we know. She's not lying, she just isn't volunteering. Big difference. Her contract may not allow her to disclose all the details of her personal health situation. It's really nobody's business anyway. I hope she is on the road to recovery, whichever road that may be. Until then, Jen Lilley is doing a fine job in her absence.

  7. I agree with the last few posts! Kirsten's health is HER business as is what she chooses to disclose. Stars are only human and who are we to judge how she is getting treatment for whatever is ailing her. I just hope she gets well soon and the return to GH will be a bonus for us fans.

  8. not you business.you're not a true fan of hers if you've got to say mean things about her and say she's lying

  9. Do not like the person who was cast to play her part at all. To me Kristen is not there. Maxie is not there. I never questioned her illness, was only hoping and praying for her full recovery and return to GH. GH is not the same at all without Kristen playing her role.

  10. GH has not been the same without Kristen playing as Maxie. The person cast to play her part can not fill her shoes at all. Prayers for Kristen and a full recovery and return to a role she does best. I in no way have questioned her illness at any time. Endometriosis is so different from one person to the next. Some suffer way more then others. Prayers for you Kristen!

  11. I don't know why everybody thinks they have the right to try and diagnose Kirsten themselves. Even if you had Endometriosis, it it doesn't mean that she is going to recover as fast as you. When people are sick with an illness, every case is different. Plus, soap operas shoot 2 months in advanced. So, who knows how long she was really out of work for. And, the people who are trying to say that they think she had something other than endometriosis, it doesn't matter! It's NOBODY'S business but hers. She was sick, she was unable to work, simple as that. i personally, just wish Kirsten the best with her health and cannot wait until she returns.

  13. my sister had endo so bad that she was in severe pain for over three years. Kristen s only 27, she may be wanting to try different things before getting the hysterectomy...not to mention it is an emotional roller coaster if she had to have one...seeing as children may not happen and everything else that comes with it. My sister had it at stage four and more EVERY organ was affected! things had moved and shifted within her body...they couldn't find her bladder. So yes, serious cases can happen and everyone is different...get well soon Kristen, we miss you!

  14. It's really sad to hear someone say your liying because she had the same problem. I have had a LOT of female problems and about to find out what's wrong. All I know right now is most likely I have endometriosis and on top of it they found a pulge on my cervics. And my uterus is pushed to the side of my bladder and laying on top of itself. And a few years ago I had to have an overy and tube removed and when they went in there was so much scar tissue from having a c-section and not taking enough time to just heal from it. So you know what she can take as much time off to heal so that won't end up happening to her. So get over it!

  19. We love Kirsten, her beauty, her charm, her graceful poise. No one can replace her. Jen Lilly does make a respectable effort, but with her whining voice, she could only ever be, a stand in. Get well soon Kirsten, and may God bless your future.
