Prospect Park Announces They Are Producing First Tyler Shields Film

Photographer Tyler Shields, who most recently shot the REVENGE pillow fight pictures, will make his feature directorial debut with the thriller Final Girl, which is being produced by Prospect Park.

The film follows a pack of feral teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their final "initiation." As it turns out, they didn't pick her -- she picked them.

According to Variety, Prospect Park's Jeff Kwatinetz and Rob Carliner will produce with Nasser Group's Jack Nasser and Joseph Nasser, while Marco Torres will exec produce.

Prospect Park announced last Wednesday they were suspending efforts to launch new versions of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE online. USA Network also announced today the return of their hit series, ROYAL PAINS, on Jan. 18.

  1. But wait! I thought everyone had decided Prospect Park was just a made-up company invented by ABC because they were so afeared of us soap viewers!

  2. no thought that PP was a real company but many soap fans won't support anything they try to develop on the web because of the situation. I know I personally won't give my eyeballs to their web series now.

  4. Seriously?! They are in fact a company producing music, film and television. There is a new service called "google" you can try.
Knowing a few of the people over there I can promise that months and months of their time was spent trying to keep the shows going. In the end they just could not raise the funds. It was just as much a disappointment to them as it was for the fans. Did I mention that they spent months and months of man power with nothing to show for their effort and time?? Fans should appreciate the fact that they tried and blame the network who originally dumped the programming. Or maybe blame the lack of viewer interest which is ultimately why they could not find enough investors. Why don't you guys try to raise millions and millions of dollars to keep a show alive with declining viewership and dumped by a major network?? They are not financiers, they are a production company. They simply took 2 dead shows and tried to give them new life.
Wishing a company to fail that had great hopes and efforts just shows a complete lack of understanding in how the business works. And honestly, I am sure that they care more about all the good people out of work because of the cancelled programming then you have considered. They truly tried.
