Last night the first episode of Season 22 of GOEDE TIJDEN SLECHTE TIJDEN aired on RTL4 in the Netherlands. The episode had 1,603,000 viewers and was at #3 in the daily ratings top 25 of Stichting Kijkonderzoek (Viewing Research Organization). The show had a market share of 28,5% in the target group 20-49.A spokeswoman of RTL: "The 4,500 fans who got to see the episode during the successful GTST Live event kept things exciting for the rest of the Netherlands. Nothing leaked out."
Before the summer we saw how Wiet went to Noud and Nina's wedding to shoot the bride. She missed and shot Nina's mother Janine instead. During all the chaos decorations fell from the tent leaving the viewers behind wondering who came unscathed from the attack... and who didn't.

Mark, how does the Viewing Research Organization differ from Nielsen here in the U.S.? Is it basically the same type of measurement?
From what I know about Nielsen... I think the two of them are similar. In the Netherlands not everyone is happy with this way of measuring the ratings. But I don't know enough about it to really answer that question. ;)
