NEWS ROUNDUP: New Ratings Lows For Y&R and B&B, Monaco on Franco, Drop Dead Preview

Daytime Soap Opera Ratings Sept. 12-16, 2011: Y&R/B&B Hit New Lows in Total Viewers, OLTL second in total viewers
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL reached new lows in viewership last week. ONE LIFE TO LIVE was down from the previous week but, due to B&B's drop, still managed to finish in second place in total viewers for the first time in six years.

Kelly Monaco has changed her opinion about James Franco
"I know there's been speculation in the past of 'What's James doing coming to GENERAL HOSPITAL? There has to be a bigger, greater picture," Monaco says. "I let that steer me for a while in a direction of not really appreciating him being there, and I've definitely changed my opinion on that."

She continued: "You're an Oscar-nominated actor coming in and hanging out with us and trying to put daytime on the map again.'"

“It's a cute story line and it goes all the way through the show,” Hall says. “My security team has seen on video tape someone stealing something from my apartment. And so I've brought the woman up on charges and I've come into court to play myself. And it's just adorable. It's a clever adorable script.”
