Sean Kanan, who plays bad boy Deacon Sharpe on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, previewed his upcoming book for us on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmys back in June. The book, "The Modern Gentleman: Cooking & Entertaining With Sean Kanan," will be released on September 13.In "The Modern Gentleman," the author, actor, producer and self taught chef offers expert field-tested instruction on how any guy can become a refined and knowledgeable chef. But the book isn't just another collection of recipes it's "a movement whose time has come. While the female population has long relied on teachers like Oprah, Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray, the male population has been largely ignored and overlooked until now."
