PREVIEW: ABC Family Tuesday Night Soaps PRETTY LITTLE LIARS & THE LYING GAME

All is not what it seems for four Pretty Little Liars as “A” sends them on a hunt to destroy lives in order to save another, in “Over My Dead Body,” the midseason finale of ABC Family’s hit original series PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, premiering Tuesday, August 30th (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET/PT). Fans can catch up with this season’s episodes with an all day marathon leading into the midseason finale beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT.

Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have made a crucial mistake – they told someone about “A” and now they must pay the price. With the clock ticking and “A” calling the shots, the girls are sent on missions to do “A’s” bidding in order to save their trusted confidant.

Each mission will ultimately lead to what the four liars want the most, but at a costly price to their loved ones and themselves. Can Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer go through with their given tasks in order to save one, or will they ignore “A” to save those around them from being hurt? And ultimately, will this matter when all is said and done? Nothing is ever as it seems in Rosewood, PA.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Leslie Morgenstein. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Chad Lowe, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse.

At 9 p.m. ET, ABC Family will show an encore presentation of THE LYING GAME's third episode, which originally aired on Monday.
