NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt touts THE PLAYBOY CLUB as an "energized soap opera"
Robert Greenblatt, former Showtime leader who is now chairman of NBC Entertainment, told TV critics today during NBC’s first presentation, “I think ‘Playboy Club’ is much more of an energized soap opera . . . this genre works really well. It also has a recognizable brand which automatically is going to draw attention to it.”

Sarah Brown previews her powerful arrival on DAYS OF OUR LIVES
"The landscape of television is changing to reflect what’s actually going on in the country and in the world, where less and less women are staying at home and more and more women are holding power positions. My character, Madison James, is coming in to represent that. Eric [Martsolf] and I have a fabulous chemistry. Alison Sweeney is also going to be a big part of this; Sami and I have a bit of a backstory that comes into play pretty quickly."

First Look: RYAN HOPE's Kate Mulgrew on WAREHOUSE 13
On August 29, former RYAN'S HOPE and STAR TREK: VOYAGER star Kate Mulgrew joins the cast of Syfy's WAREHOUSE 13 in a four-episode arc as Jane, a character who will prove to have a profound impact on the Warehouse — and one of its occupants with whom she shares a past.

"She is a Regent, a very important Regent," says series creator Jack Kenny. "Her first episode ("The 40th Floor"), will make her relationship to the Warehouse and everyone in it vital. And for the next three episodes that Kate is in (9/12's "Shadows," 9/26's "Emily Lake" and the 10/3 season ender titled "Stand"), we'll learn a lot more about how the Regents are chosen, how they affect the Warehouse, and in particular how Jane will have a very strong impact on Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly)."

Esta TerBlanche is returning to ALL MY CHILDREN
Esta TerBlanche will be making a return appearance to the soap, a decade after Ryan's beloved princess died and her heart was donated to Brooke's daughter, Laura.

GLEE's Darren Criss lands a new movie role
Kristen Wiig recently lined up her first post-Bridesmaids project, Imogene, about a woman who fakes suicide to get back with an ex but ends up having to go live with her gambling-addict mom, who will be played by Annette Bening. Darren Criss will play Wiig's younger love interest in the film.
