Former PASSIONS star Justin Hartley will guest star on CHUCK
On the second episode of the new season, LOST's Jeff Fahey will play Karl Sneijder, the president and CEO of diamond giant Natal Jewelers. Although he’s been under CIA scrutiny in the past for alleged criminal activity, nothing has ever stuck. He comes to Chuck and Sarah’s spy shingle Carmichael Industries for help when his innocent little brother, Wesley, is kidnapped. The little brother role will be played by Hartley. CHUCK's fifth and final season kicks off Friday, Oct. 21.

Local church turns movie set for new Genie Francis Hallmark movie
Bright lights and lots of equipment invaded St. John's Anglican Church Aug. 9 as Front Street Pictures set up shop for a day, filming part of the third picture in The Note saga, which has been one of the Hallmark Channel's highest-rated offerings.

'Death' becomes B&B star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
MacInnes Wood co-stars in the horror comedy, Final Destination 5 (in 3-D and IMAX formats), which opens Friday.

"I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of it," says the actress, now based in L.A. "This one has the fun, but it also has the suspense. I like the shock and awe of it."

Germany: Convisual develops soap opera app for ProSiebenSat.1
German mobile marketing services provider Convisual has developed a mobile phone app for broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 for the HAND AUFS HERZ (Hand on the Heart) soap opera that is broadcast Monday-Friday at 18.00 hours. The app supports an existing mobile marketing campaign for the soap opera, and is available for devices with the iOS and Android operating systems.

GILMORE GIRLS Creator Adapts THE NANNY DIARIES for ABC
ABC is close to ordering a script from Amy Sherman-Palladino through its sister studio, ABC Studios, which is behind the project. THE NANNY DIARIES centers on a group of nannies who work for upper class Manhattan parents; Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus wrote the book, which was published in 2002.

Debbi Morgan meets with girls at "Saving Our Daughters" event
To highlight bullying awareness and education, ALL MY CHILDREN actress Debbi Morgan met with two girls from Maryland, including 11-year old Deer Park Middle School student Natalia Graham, at the Lake Presidential Golf Course Resort in Greater Upper Marlboro.

Morgan is the national spokeswoman for "Saving Our Daughters," the Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that produces a book series by the same name which provides girls with inspiring tools and celebrity stories to combat issues surrounding bullying.
