REVIEW: Orange Juice in Bishop's Garden Revitalizes the '90s

Web Series: ORANGE JUICE IN BISHOP'S GARDEN

For fans of...: DEGRASSI; THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER; Pearl Jam

What it is: 1990s-style ensemble teen picaresque.

What's good: Nice portions—individual episodes tend to focus on a small social subdivision of the large (24 character) cast. Recreates the 90s just how we remember them.

What's great: Low-budget charm is appropriately Grunge Rock. So sweet and earnest, it's easy to get past the imperfections. Nice diversity of characters.

What could be better: Problematic audio and uneven acting talent didn't keep us from investing in these cute stories about adolescent drama and redemption.

Addictive like...: Orange juice!

Grade: B

Review based on: Episodes 1.1; 4.1-4.9
