Anthony Herrera Has Passed Away At Age 67

Reports of the death of Emmy Nominated Anthony Herrera (James Stenbeck, ATWT) circulated on the internet tonight, with many on Facebook and Twitter discussing his death on June 21st in Buenos Aires.  Approximately one hour ago, Emmy-winning actress Martha Byrne wrote on her Twitter page, "RIP Anthony Herrera...so many great memories.... :( "

We at WE LOVE SOAPS TV are saddened by these reports. We take pause to remember and acknowledge the depth and gravity of Mr. Herrera's contributions to AS THE WORLD TURNS on and off between 1980-2010, as well as his roles on LOVING, SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, THE SECRET STORM and many other projects. He was also the author of "The Cancer War" and fought tirelessly to raise money for cancer research. He was one of the pioneer patients who successfully underwent a non-ablative stem cell transplant for mantle cell lymphoma.

Please stay come back to this post WE LOVE SOAPS for news as it becomes available.
