FLASHBACK: The Story of GENERAL HOSPITAL, Part 1
In the mid-1970s Daytime TV magazine ran a series called "The STORY of..." which included complete histories up until that point of several daytime soaps. In the classic article below, the story of GENERAL HOSPITAL is revealed. This is the first of three parts that came out in monthly installments.

This is so great! I remember the old characters!!! I miss Dr. Hardy reading the Christmas story each year. My daughter and I used to remind each other not to miss it when she was in college!
Dr. Alan Quartermaine did a good job of taking over, but they killed him off too soon.
