  2. Thanks for covering this event! I wish I could have been there but I don't live in anywhere near there.

If anyone from AMC or OLTL reads this, please know that your viewers are grateful for your talent, onscreen and behind the scenes. We wish the best for you and your families.

  5. Thank you to all of you who stood up and fought for all of those who lived so far away to go. Everyone said great things and glad the neilson rating system was mentioned as it is a big factor for all shows. Nobody will be watching these new shows and if ABC doesn't want to listen to us the loyal fans will make sure the channel is off at all times. To not count people over the age of 49is such discrimination and why are they allowed to do this when nobody else is allowed to. Age 49 is so young and it makes no sense. I'm 36 and I work full time and raise 5 kids but at the end of the night that is my hour for me to escape watching All My Children. Most shows you don't escape into but when you are connected as long as we have been you think of nothing but the show for one hour. My drug of choice by far. Thank you again to the fans who stood in the pouring rain and the celebrities and the reporters who covered us.

  6. THANK YOU O ALL FANS, CELEBRITIES, REPORTERS AND VOICING YOUR THOGHTS. I AM 25 AND I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE THAT WATCH SOAPS. WE ALL WATCHED THEM IN COLLEGE AT BREAKS. NEILSON DOESN'T COUNT DORM ROOMS, PEOPLE OVER 49, IF YOU AREN'T A LIVE VIEWER IF YOU RECORDED IT FOR DAYTIME AND WATCH IT LATER IT DOESN'T COUNT. 21,000 NEILSON BOXES IN THE US IS WHO DETERMINES WHAT SHOWS STAY AND WHAT SHOWS GO. IT SEEMS TO BE A SYSTEM THE NETWORK DOES NOT WANT TO FIX MAYBE FOR FOOLING SPONSORS SO THEY PAY DURING REAL LOW GRADE SHOWS. IT IS 2011 WE CAN TRACK OUR KIDS ON PHONES BUT WE CAN'T TRACK WHO IS WATCHING WHAT SHOW THROUGH CABLE COMPANIES. FOR SOME REASON THEY DON'T WANT TO KNOW. LAST WEEK ALL MY CHILDREN MADE #3 AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE MADE #1 SPOTS IN DAYTIME TV. HIGHER THAN OTHER SOAPS NOT IN DANGER. ALL MY CHILDREN NOMINATED THIS YEAR FOR 13 EMMY'S AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE 12. THAN BROTHER'S AND SISTER'S GETS CANCELLED. THEY DON'T TRY TO MOVE THE SPOT TO A EARLIER TIME BEING A FAMILY SHOW BUT JUST THROW IT AWAY. ABC/DISNEY DOESN'T WANT THE SOAPS BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY OUT GOOD MONEY FROM THE SPONSORS FOR THE ACTUAL SHOW AND MAKE ONLY 20% PROFIT THEY WANT 40% AND WITH SOME OF THIS NEW REALITY GARBAGE AND TALK SHOWS THEY WILL BE GETTING A LOT MORE THAN 40%. THEY HAVE IGNORED SO MANY THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITH A MESSAGE STATING IF YOU LEAVE A COMMENT ON PROGRAMMING HERE IT WILL BE DELETED AUTOMATICALLY. DISNEY DOESN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ABC THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF THE SOAPS SINCE THEY BOUGHT IT BECAUSE THEY ARE THE COMPANY THAT IS FULL OF GREED. BRIAN FRONS HAS LIED TO VIEWERS AND CAST AND CREW. INSIDERS HAVE TOLD US HE IS A BULLY, MICRO MANAGER WHO LIKES TO FIRE INSIDE EMPLOYEES AS THEY AGE (WOMEN) AND ALWAYS THE ACTORS. IT IS SO SAD A MAN WHO SHOWS SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR IS THE PRESIDENT OF A MAJOR NETWORK. HE GOT RID OF A SOAP WHEN HE WORKED FOR NBC BACK IN 1980 HE HAS ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING AGAINST THE SOAPS. ABC HAS BEEN THE #1 SPOT OF 19 CONSECUTIVE SEASONS FOR DAYTIME TV. DOES IT SOUND LIKE THIS WAS A RATINGS ISSUE BEING NUMBER 1 AND 3 AND ALWAYS TOP 4 OR 5. THANK YOU AGIAN TO EVERYONE WHO FOUGHT FOR THOSE OF US WHO COULDN'T BE THERE. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!

  7. Millions of soap fans will be shuttingoff ABC and DISNEY. NOT WATCHING ANY PRIMETIME TV AND WOULD NEVER WATCH THE CHEAP TV REPLACING THE SHOWS. REALLY A CRIMINAL IS THE CHEF ON THE NEW SHOW. PEOPLE CAN'T GET JOBS ANYWHERE WITH A RECORD BUT HE CAN BY THE LOVELY SEXIST BRIAN FRONS. THE NEW CHEF IN 2007 WAS SUED FOR BEING A RACIST AND HE HAS A COUPLE LAWSUITS BY MANY EMPLOYEES FOR NOT PAYING THEM, STEALING OTHERS IDEAS, GIVING THEIR TIPS TO PEOPLE WHO AREN'T SUPPOSED TO GET TIPS AND THEY GOT PAID MINIMIM WAGE. THIS IS A REAL CLASS ACT. THE SHOWS COMING OUT REPLACING OUR BELOVED SOAPS ARE A JOKE AND A SLAP IN THE FACE TO LOYAL VIEWERS SOME FOR 40+ YEARS. I AM 28 YEAR OLD MALE AND MY MOM AND GRANDMOTHER AND MY SISTER ALL WATCH THE SOAPS, THEY ALL WORK, THEY ALL RECORD IT AND WATCH IT LATER. I AGREE BROTHERS AND SISTERS BEING CANCELLED IS CRIMINAL JUST LIKE OUR SOAPS. ABC WANTS NOT CAST AND CREW SHOWS TO PAY. JUST A CHEAP COUPLE OF PEOPLE FOR REALITY, FOOL THE SPONSORS INTO PAYING AND RUIN ALL REAL ACTING. REALITY, LIFESTYLE AND COOKING SHOWS IS ALL YOUR GOING TO GET WATCHING AMC. THEY HAVE LET US DOWN AND I WON'T EVEN WATCH THE NEWS. THE NEILSON REPORTS WILL SHOW THEIR RATINGS DROP AND THE SPONSORS WILL KNOW MILLIONS OF US WON'T BE WATCHING ABC TO SEE THEIR COMMERCIALS AND WE WON'T BE SUPPORTING SPONSORS PRODUCTS IF THEY SUPPORT ABC RUINING TV FOR CORPORATE GREED WHILE THEY DISCRIMINATE. SHAME ON YOU ABC/DISNEY. THANK YOU HOOVER FOR STANDING UP AND DOING WHAT WAS RIGHT MORALLY AND PULLING YOUR ADS. YOU HAVE MORE LIFETIME LOYAL FANS THAT WILL ONLY BUY HOOVER. ALWAYS RESPECTED BY MILLIONS FOR WHAT YOU DID. THANK YOU

  9. Thank-you to all the soap fans & soap stars for being the voice of thousands at yesterday's rally. Also thank you We Love Soaps TV for covering the event. Kudos to all! Brilliant idea to let ABC/Disney we won't be supporting these shows & the sponsors won't be getting our business!

  10. I so wish I could have been there. Thanks to the protestors.I kept up to the pictures posted all day. I noticed the NBC buses in many of them. HAHA!

  11. Sorry I couldn't be there but stayed home and phoned sponsors, networks and e mailed officials. The casts and crews of these shows have been treated poorly with such a dismissive attitude, and the new shows in their time slots will tank big time. ABC has not been turned on in my house since April 14. And it never will again. We DVR the soaps and watch later. We also booked a cruise for family of 21 on Royal Caribbean, and not Disney. Not buying Hershey's or Payless.

  12. Thanks to all who stood out the rain to represent us, and to show the advertisers that ABC\Disney has little respect for its viewers. It's all about money with them, without a path for solutions.
It is easier for them to throw away the fans and the staff of both these soaps, then to keep our respect. Shame on ABC and all it stands for!!

  13. Love so many of Mimi's point and so agree with her.

Soaps do make money as example of so many in primetime. ABC Daytime however has seemed like they have been on a mission to destroy their soaps. I will not watch any ABC Daytime.
