REVIEW: Hillary B. Smith is FUMBLING THRU THE PIECES

Web Series: FUMBLING THRU THE PIECES

For fans of...: ONE LIFE TO LIVE; CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM

What it is: Post-yuppie, new-agey women and the blue collar gentleman who grounds them (a bit) try to figure out Life and each other.

What's good: A professional, mature look and feel evocative of an HBO style pseudo-documentary sitcom. A very experienced cast—and it shows. Plus, get your Hillary B. Smith fix!

What's great: These are the neighbors you wish you had... so open and kind, and so fascinating and full of secrets... but should be glad you don't. We love snooping! From a safe distance.

What could be better: This series is all about character development, and we wish there could be more built into each episode. Without the (admittedly rockin') theme music and credits, some episodes are only three minutes long...

Addictive like...: Water cooler gossip

Grade: B+

Review based on: Season 1, Episodes 1-7
