WE LOVE SOAPS TV 2.29 Van Hansis

On Episode 2.29 of WE LOVE SOAPS TV, Roger Newcomb welcomes actor Van Hansis, best known to soap fans for his three-time Emmy nominated performance as Luke Snyder on AS THE WORLD TURNS from 2005-2010. Hansis shares his thoughts on his career to date, offers a preview of his new film, Occupant, and talks about the future in this special interview conducted at the famous Bradbury Building in Los Angeles.

A great interview with a wonderful young man.He is so gorgeous, so talented and so nice.And he has a smile to light up the world.I hope he gets many jobs, he's so deserving and I miss him as Luke on ATWT.I saw his 'Occupant' trailer and it looks good.I love him and hope he'll come back to N.Y. for some fan meets once in awhile.Keep us up to date on his career Roger.And thank you Van for the interview and for being the wonderful and talented guy you are!

  7. Wonderful interview! It is great to hear Van's excitement about Occupant and his future as an actor. I loved when you said that he would be a huge star someday because all of his fans totally agree. Van is so self-effacing which is refreshing! Just one of the many reasons we all love him so much! I adore the fact that roger just focused on van. no ATWT stupid reminiscing and the same old reused napkin questions about how he felt when he played luke's character on the show and blah blah blah but an enlightening interview about the future of van hansis. i am so fucking proud of him. this interview is definitely the start to many that won't have chris and jean in the picture no longer and b the end of this year i hope their presence to us in van's life becomes so non existence it's like they vanished off the face of the earth literally.

  11. What a great interview. How refreshing to see him talk about his training, the new movie and his own future. Nice that the focus was not only on ATWT or Luke.
    I loved how excited Van is about his new movie. Can't wait to see Occupant. He has such a positive attitude about his future! Hopefully LA will appreciate the many talents of this gifted actor. Wishing him much happiness and success.

  12. Van has matured in a most positive direction, from his successful portrayal of a late teenager (even though he was in his early twenties) to the engaging young man we see today. With that new hairstyle, he is as handsome as ever; and his appearance matches his talent. Hopefully, he will finally win that elusive Emmy for his unforgettable performance this year as Luke Snyder...A real life Prince Charming.
