Soaps Make the World Go Round
Advocate.com takes a look at last night's ABC Daytime/LA Gay & Lesbian Center event: "[Bradford] Anderson has a kick-ass voice and is a natural fit for songs like 'Mr. Cellophane' and 'Kiss of the Spider Woman.' [Brandon] Barash has a warm baritone and is an instant charmer from the second he hits the stage. GLAAD: Only 6 disabled primetime characters
There are 587 series-regular roles on scripted network primetime television this fall. Only six of them have disabilities. Only one of those six is portrayed by a disabled actor.

Tyler Blackburn, Alona Tal join PRETTY LITTLE LIARS
Blackburn (Ian, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) will play Caleb, described as a "bad boy" and Alona Tal, from SUPERNATURAL, joins the cast as Simone, who will cause some drama for one of the LIARS.

'CHiPs' Larry Wilcox Charged With Securities Fraud
The Securities and Exchange Commission just charged Wilcox and more than a dozen others with allegedly manipulating the volume and price of penny stocks to illegally generate stock sales. Translation: Wilcox and the others allegedly set up a phony company to generate bogus stock sales.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Gives Obama Unusually Sexy Shout-Out
During Thursday's episode, Tracy Quartermaine, the sharp-tongued character played by actress Jane Elliot, is talking to her husband’s con man son, Ethan, and to a local mobster, Johnny. While discussing the safety of the con man son, Johnny says, “That sounds like a truce.” To which Tracy snaps, “Right. And I have Barack Obama waiting for me in my hot tub at home.”
