The former SEARCH FOR TOMORROW co-stars reunited on Friday for the Beauty Ball, a fundraiser for the city nonprofit Beauty Through Cancer.

“Beauty Through Cancer is unique because they don't give medical advice, but they fill the gap between the medical and the emotional,” Forsyth, also a cancer survivor, said of the beneficiary organization.

WGA Adds New Media Honors to 2011 Awards Lineup
he Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) today announced the first-ever WGA New Media Writing Awards. In recognition of the great talent and work being exhibited on a wide variety of new media platforms, awards for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media and Outstanding Achievement in Writing Derivative New Media will be presented at the 2011 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at simultaneous ceremonies in New York and Los Angeles.

Sara Ramirez to co-host "Runway" benefit, Michael Park participating
Ramirez, of GREY'S ANATOMY fame these days, played the midwife who delivered Sage on AS THE WORLD TURNS years ago. Broadway Takes the "Runway: An Evening of Fashion and Song" — which benefits the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation — Oct. 4 at Touch Nightclub in Manhattan.

Chris Stack's "Love and Communication" opens this week
Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, will open its 2010-2011 season with "Love and Communication," a new play by Princeton resident James J. Christy. Directed by Adam Immerwahr, the production will run from October 7 through October 24 at the historic Mill Hill Playhouse (205 E. Front Street) in downtown Trenton.

Third Season Of EASTENDERS: E20 Commissioned
Producer Deborah Sathe said: "We are thrilled with the success of the first two series and have already started to storyline the third. Be prepared for a few familiar faces, a couple of new ones and a lot of fireworks."

  1. (NelsonAspen)My gorgeous gal pal Louan kicked cancer's ass with the same fiesty, funny determination that makes her such a dynamite friend & interesting performer. Great to hear that David came out to shine alongside her again. It may be a quarter century since Liza & Hogan were stranded together, but it's great to see old mates reunite for such a terrific cause.
