NEWS: Daniel Cummings Debuts on GH, Jeremy Scott, Pampers

Daniel Cummings makes his GENERAL HOSPITAL debut Tuesday
His character, Taylor Wallace, who debuts in today’s 12,098th episode of the show, is a new classmate and study partner of character Kristina Davis, a high school student.

When asked what soap opera-worthy developments are in store for his character, Cummings quipped, "I can only hope that there’s a dramatic twist and maybe I’ll be some sort of evil super-villian. For right now, he’s a nice guy." He said the show’s producers are testing the waters on the Wallace character. Cummings said he was told, “If it clicks, it can continue indefinitely.”

Teenager nets prize for creating character in online soap opera
Hayfield School pupil Lucy Warnock, from Auckley, was among entrants who submitted ideas for a new character who would be a new housemate for NHS Doncaster's online soap opera DN1.

Hundreds of angry Christians have blasted the BBC over the storyline in long-running soap, Eastenders, which sees Pentecostal preacher Lucas Johnson turn into a crazed killer. Viewers have complained that the plot is offensive to their faith, with others questioning whether the channel would air a similar storyline with a Muslim cleric.

George Steinbrenner Passes Away
New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner passed away following a massive heart attack this morning in Tampa. He'd celebrated his 80th birthday July 4th.
