Taylor Spreitler leaving DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Taylor Spreitler (Mia) will be exiting the soap. "I have enjoyed playing such a fun and ever changing character on daytime television and it has been an incredibly gratifying experience both professionally and personally," she says. "My heart will always be in Salem. Wanted to say thank you to all my fans for your support. I would also like to say thank you to [DAYS] for letting Mia stay around in Salem longer than expected and for that I am grateful. "Tracking The CW’s numbers in general is difficult because they have such a specific audience. I think they have to have a different way of tallying viewers because they do have a lot of viewers who watch online. That said, of course live ratings matter; especially, since our show doesn’t have a big jump once DVR numbers are factored in. That’s why airing encore presentations on Wednesday night was so great, because it doubled our total audience for the week."
