COMMENTS FROM THE PANEL:
Alan Carter: Who ever thought a pimp could be sexy? Anthony brought a strangely-endearing, sometimes scary, often confounding role as a pimp and made him...likable. To find yourself rooting for the bad guy...as millions did, speaks to the complexity of what he did on screen.

Patrick Erwin: An intense, authentic performer who brought the unforgettable Marco Dane to vivid life on both OLTL and GH.

  1. Loved the adventures of Marco Dane, Mario Corelli and Karen Wolek. Gerry Anthony was a wonderful actor.

  2. I would have placed Anthony much higher. One of the two best actors (Michael Zaslow) I ever saw on OLTL. There's never been another successful Marco-type character on a soap.

  3. OLTL was my first soap. Marco Dane, Karen Wolek, Vicky/Nicky Joe Reily, Brad & Jenny.......he was part of a golden era. Gerald Anthony made a memorable character.
