COMMENTS FROM THE PANEL:
Alan Carter:  He did everything but twirl the moustache, and that is probably cause for the most part, he didn't have one. But what does it say of a role that can be off screen for 10 years and characters still talk about him like he is down the street.

Nelson Aspen: ATWT's answer to Alan Spaulding, this talented leading man always oozed charm and strength no matter how ludicrous the situation he was given to play. His ability to play those scenes with conviction rightfully made him one of the show's most iconic and beloved characters.

Roger Newcomb: The returns of James Stenbeck in recent years haven't been written particularly well, but I'll never forget the early years or James with Barbara and Gunnar. And, of course, Herrera's "Hello, Barbara" line from when he came back from the dead (the first time) is one of the most memorable in the historic 54 year run of AS THE WORLD TURNS.

  1. Anthony is one of the best villains of all time. Would be a blast that he come back from the dead yet again. He's like Kenny from South even dead dead comes back. Oh my god they killed James you bastard !!!
I think Paul said it this last time. Like to hear him say; Hello Barbra one more time.

  2. Anthony Herrera should be # 1 of all time.
He has it all, looks, talent, evil, smart, calculating, charasmatic, and my gosh that voice of his, wow!

Anthony Herrera could take on Allan Spaulding, The "Mustache" Victor Newman AND Rodger Thorpe (Michael Zazlow? RIP)

Who else is dynamic enough to portrait all those charactorists and then even manage to yet evolve into a more loving vulnerable James?

Anthony Herrera will always be # 1 now and forever.
