PREVIEW: Tonight's ABC Soapy Lineup

ABC has a soap lineup in primetime on Thursday nights including THE DEEP END, GREY'S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE each airing new episodes tonight. Here's a preview.

"Nothing Personal" -- When a promising female tennis star loses her scholarship, Susan gives Beth and Dylan the challenging pro-bono case -- which questions the player's personal identity -- while Liam and Malcolm are pitted against each other, on THE DEEP END, tonight (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network

THE DEEP END stars Matt Long as Dylan Hewitt, Billy Zane as Cliff Huddle, Clancy Brown as Hart Sterling, Norbert Leo Butz as Rowdy Kaiser, Leah Pipes as Beth Branford, Tina Majorino as Addy Fisher, Ben Lawson as Liam Priory, Nicole Ari Parker as Susan Oppenheim and Mehcad Brooks as Malcolm Bennet.

Guest starring are Kate Lang Johnson as Hannah Mayfield, Lorenzo Callender as Douglas Shea, Tim Guinee as Neil Levin and Christina Vidal as Rachel Esposito.

"Nothing Personal" was written by Sanford Golden & Karen Wyscarver and directed by Adam Arkin.

"Valentine's Day Massacre" -- It's Valentine's Day, and the doctors must treat dozens of injured people after the roof collapses at a popular romantic restaurant; Derek tries to manage his busy schedule as Chief of Surgery; Meredith wrestles with her new duties as the Chief's wife; and Mark and Callie team up to convince Sloan to do the right thing for her baby, on GREY'S ANATOMY, tonight (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network

GREY'S ANATOMY stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Katherine Heigl as Isobel "Izzie" Stevens, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt and Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins.

"Valentine's Day Massacre" was written by William Harper and directed by Stephen Cragg.

"Love Bites" - Sam convinces Violet to help plan Maya's wedding when Naomi refuses to take part, tensions between Addison and Sam rise even as they work together to treat a suicidal patient, and Cooper and Pete treat a teenage girl with a mysterious bite mark on her neck, on PRIVATE PRACTICE, tonight (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

PRIVATE PRACTICE stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Audra McDonald as Dr. Naomi Bennett, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Chris Lowell as William Dell Parker, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.
