And this week she appears in Britain's longest-running drama, Coronation Street, which this year celebrates its Golden Jubilee.

NBC Baltimore pre-empts daytime line-up but airs it on digital channel
While WBAL pre-empted some of its most popular syndicated talk shows and network soap operas for snow coverage Wednesday afternoon, General Manager Jordan Wertlieb said the station received no complaints. The reason: Since the digital switchover last year, the station has more alternative channels on which it was able to offer DAYS and other shows. Meanwhile, the CBS affiliate told fans to watch online. Pre-emptions occurred in other cities as well so look for a possible impact on the ratings next week.
