Austin Peck to star in "The Irish Curse"
Peck has been announced as part of the cast for the Off-Broadway premiere of Martin Casella's acclaimed comedy "The Irish Curse" at the Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street (between Avenue of the Americas & Varick Street). Performances begin on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th. Opening Night is set for Sunday, March 28th. Matt Lenz will direct.

Procter & Gamble attending Family Research Council summit
Procter & Gamble, the Fortune 500 company behind many beauty and household products and, until its final episodes this September, the soap opera AS THE WORLD TURNS, will appear with its new television production partner Wal-mart at a September political action summit hosted by the antigay Family Research Council.

Joan Collins Joins German Soap VERBOTENE LIEBE
Collins, best known for her role as Alexis on DYNASTY, will be guest starring on the German soap VERBOTENE LIEBE (Forbidden Love). She starts shooting on Monday, February 22, and will play an English aristocrat namded Lady Joan. Her first scenes air in April. Collins also played Alexandra on GUIDING LIGHT for a short time. VERBOTENE LIEBE is best known in the U.S. for its gay couple Oliver and Christian.

Giving a performance "the likes of which we have not seen since yesterday," Mayor Villaraigosa has joined Councilman Eric Garcetti as guest star on ALL MY CHILDREN this week. His role: the mysterious and persuasive "Mayor Villaraigosa." The appearance is an homage to the show's move to Los Angeles earlier this year.

Rinna says Montag's plastic surgery "not appropriate"
Former DAYS OF OUR LIVES actress Lisa Rinna has weighed in on the topic of Heidi Montag's plastic-surgery spree, declaring that Montag is sending a message that's "not appropriate. I had to take that cover off the magazine before it came into the house" for fear of the effect it would have on her two daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray."
