Taylor Gildersleeve cast on ONE LIFE TO LIVE
Soaps In Depth has learned that Taylor Gildersleeve (ex-Sydney, ALL MY CHILDREN) is joining the cast of ONE LIFE TO LIVE! A show rep confirms that Gildersleeve will be playing the recurring role of Leah.

CORONATION STREET, celebrating its 50th year, won the award which was voted for by the public. William Roache, who has starred as Ken Barlow in the soap since the first episode, said: "We might be 50 years old but we have a heartbeat like a cannon."

Sony-owned Crackle acquires Disney's web series TRENCHES
Sony Pictures-owned online video site Crackle has acquired Stage 9 Digital-produced sci fi web series TRENCHES. The show, which was written by Dawn Cowings and Sarah Yaworsky, stars Micci Sampery and Manhattanites actor Lev Gorn and follows a group of soldiers on a war torn planet forced to battle merciless beasts as part of a rescue attempt.

Sam Riegel's web series MAN BEAR premieres

Scott Baio facing heat for Michelle Obama tweet
After posting a picture of the First Lady with the caption, "WOW He wakes up to this every morning," Baio started receiving threatening responses and was accused of being racist. In defending himself, he brought Victoria Rowell into the mix by tweeting, "If I'm racist, don't think I would have Directed shows like The Parkers & The Wayans Bros. or worked 41 eps w/ Victoria Rowell on D.Murder."
