Nelson's Soap Scrapbook #4 - SEARCH FOR TOMORROW 1985

Nelson Aspen dug into his scrapbooks for some memorabilia from his early showbiz career in Daytime TV and shares some of his personal photos exclusively with We Love Soaps. All photos are owned by Nelson. For more of his exploits, read "Hollywood Insider Exposed!"

We continue this series with a couple of photos from SEARCH FOR TOMORROW.

  1. Dear Mr. Aspen,
Did you ever meet my friend, Mary Lou Bondi, who was the SFT Fan Club President?
And, how long did Erwin Nicholson serve as Executive Producer, I think it was for one year? What were your impressions of him? I miss him so very much, may his soul rest in peace.
Oh, to be young like you again...

  2. Ms. Bondi's name sounds familiar. If you read my book HOLLYWOOD INSIDER: EXPOSED!, you know that I spent some time helping Mary Stuart answer her fan mail. Maybe that's why it rings a bell. I did work for Erwin "Nick" Nicholson, who had a very brief tenure as EP when we moved into the EUE studios on E. 44 Street. He was a lovely soft spoken gentleman.

  3. I'll have to treat myself and buy your book this week after I get my Social Security Disability Check. I'm looking forward to it.
Maybe you can autograph it for me, sometime.

  5. OMG Nelson, That last photo is priceless -- to me. And so sweet that we are all still friends. I always also loved Betty Boop.
